Maple Glazed Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS
• 2 boneless pork chops (about 1-inch thick)
• Salt and pepper, to taste
• 2 tbsp olive oil
• 1/4 cup maple syrup
• 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar
• 2 tbsp butter
• 1 tsp Dijon mustard (optional)
• 1 garlic clove, minced (optional)
• Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
• Mashed potatoes and roasted carrots, for serving
Directions
1. Season pork chops with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear pork chops for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to 145°F. Set aside.
2. Lower heat to medium, add balsamic vinegar to skillet, cook for 1 minute, then stir in maple syrup and simmer for 2-3 minutes. Add butter, stir until smooth, and optionally add Dijon mustard or garlic.
3. Return pork chops to skillet, spoon glaze over them, and cook for 2-3 minutes, flipping to coat evenly.
4. Serve pork chops with mashed potatoes and roasted carrots. Drizzle with remaining glaze and garnish with parsley.
